Without a doubt…

One of the most spiritual places in Dallas.  Designed by renowned architect Philip Johnson, this tiny chapel boasts one of  the largest suspended stained glass ceilings in the world.  The colors get brighter as you get closer to the center.

This is one place that I am not against taking the “stereotypical” architectural shot.  The stained glass ceiling is basically the only feature in the interior of the building.  Other than the stained glass, you have bare walls spiraling towards the center.  Everyone shoots this the same, and yet it is somehow OK.  This same image was submitted in the State Fair Photo contest by someone on my photography group, and it won a ribbon.

I was flat on my back in the center of the chapel to get this image.  What a cool place.
