more incredible architecture. it never stops.

Took Owie out to the 2-year-old Trinity Audobon Center in Southeast Dallas this afternoon.  It’s a nature center, run by the Audobon Society, that showcases the great Trinity Forest and adjacent watershed.  Very interesting main building with miles of trails radiating in all directions.  This is a shot of the front? of the main building.  On the other side of this “ship’s hull” is an interactive display that features vaious flora and fauna from the area.  The shapes you see are light portals that go through the wall to the interior of the structure.  Everything on the site is LEEDS associated, with an eye towards conservation and recycling/reclamation.  Cool place.  We will return when we have some time to scope.
